All of us probably experienced some sort of heartbreak before and it can have various reasons, like rejection, betrayal or the loss of someone close to us. 
This painting basically portraits the escape we all look for to outrun the pain, just painted in a more morbid way.
This painting helped me personally through a difficult time and after it was finished and could look at the whole completed piece, half of that pain i felt before, was gone. 
If it finds the right owner, I am most confident it will do the same 
 
 
This piece is varnished, painted with acrylics on canvas and the details on the tiles are made with goldleaf.
