The original painting was created out of, I'd say anger. Anger about shark fishing, Anger about us ruining the ocean out of selfishness. So in this painting the Shark finally get's his little revenge. You can interpret this painting into so many different ways and I would say most of them fit so don't take my interpretation as the only one.
